The Holiday Season is upon us!
In the past we have been able to help many less fortunate children and families have a little joy around the holidays. Over the last few years it have become more difficult as Covid restricted our ability to have parties and spread joy.
This year we are back!

We are helping out with several holiday parties and need more gifts than ever!
We are partnering with Christmas Magic and Long island Home Builders Care to throw a bash for over 200 children at the Holbrook Fire House. Santa will be there giving a nice gift specific for each child. An amazing dinner will be served and then the elves will dish out all of the ice cream the kids can eat!
We will also be helping out with Every Childs Dream Foundation – the brainchild of our good friend, the late Ken Mangan. The goal of the foundation is to make the festivities bright for the homeless or economically disadvantaged in our community was the. Honoring his legacy, his wife Karen and their family carry on the tradition of joining together with Sayville High School to put on the biggest Christmas party we have ever seen! 800 people!
The event features beautifully set tables as if in a nice restaurant, waiter service provided by the students, food prepared by high end local restaurants, games, face painting, and of course Santa with gifts for every child!
This is a good article describing the event: https://longislandmediagroup.com/in-sayville-hs-every-childs-dream-showcased-the-giving-spirit/
We will also put together gifts to donate to Toys for Tots. The Marines will be collecting them from us at the Long Island Propane Gas Association Christmas Party.
Life is difficult for many of our local families. When times are good it is hard to put together events like these, but when times are tryin as they have been the last few years, it has been even more difficult!
Many recent studies have proven that generosity increases your sense of happiness. Sounds like a win/win to me!
