Long Island Home Builders Care is the charitable arm of the Long Island Builders Institute. The goal of LIHBC is to give back to Long Island communities by means of the various businesses that are a part of the organization and donate their time and resources towards philanthropic efforts. The businesses that specifically make up LIHBC are either directly involved or in support of the builder industry. Pine Aire Truck Service is so proud to be a part of this amazing organization where Dave Bloom serves on the board of directors.

Some of the worthy efforts the organization pursues include stocking food pantries through the Babylon Food Pantry, modifying homes and recreational parks for the handicapped and elderly, and providing annual child scholarships through the Mancini Scholarship Fund.

The LIBI Walkathon is an annual event that happens mid-September and runs from Robert Moses Field 5 to Kismet, where there is a party at the Dive Bar.

This years walkathon was extra special with Pine Aire Truck donating fishing rods to dozens of children so they could learn to fish off of the Kismet dock. Although our intentions were for snapper fishing, blow fish ruled the day with over 100 caught.
